Professor Xu at the School of Economics of Ocean University of China,Doctoral supervisor,Senior researcher at the Ocean Development Institute,a director of the Centre for OceanCarbon Neutrality (COCN),Deputy Director of the Qingdao Marine Committee of theJiusan Society,a visiting scholar at the University of California,Berkeley,and a visitingscholar at the State University of New York,USA.She is a member of the CorrespondingEvaluation Committee of the Ministry of Education's Cheung Kong Scholars,a memberof the Evaluation Committee of the Social Science Foundation,and a reviewer for manyacademic journals at home and abroad;She has served in many academic institutionsand groups,such as the Pacific Society of China,the Marine Economics Branch of theOceanographic Society of China,and so on.Her research direction is the transformationof economic structure and green development. She serves as the chief expert for majorprojects of the National Social Science Foundation and presides over more than 20projects such as the National Social Science Foundation Project, the Humanities andSocial Science Project of the Ministry of Education,the Social Science Major Base Projectof the Ministry of Education,and the National Marine soft Science Project.More than 100papers and 9 books have been published in major academic journals at home and abroadsuch as SCl,SSCl,CSSCl,El,etc.She has also published 9 books.She has won more than20 awards for scientific research excellence and various honors in Shandong Province andQingdao City,and a number of research results have been adopted by national ministries and relevant departments.
