Jiawen Liu serves as a visiting scholar at University of Portsmouth. She received her BA (Hons) degree in Accountancy and Financial Management in 2017 and the Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting in 2018 from the University of Portsmouth. She was awarded a PhD in Accounting, Economics and Finance in October 2024 by the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the University of Portsmouth. Her research interests include blue economy accounting and blue carbon accounting.
